Adobe’s Character Animator software was used to create this 14 minute animated guide to becoming a freelance practitioner in the creative industries. The video is based upon Chapter 2 of the Freelancers Handbook: A Survive and Thrive Guide For Beginners in Creative Industries by Peter Simcoe. This book is available on the Amazon bookstore website. Topics include defining what a freelancer is, myths and truths about the lifestyle plus an insight into how situation and personality can influence the suitability of freelance life for an individual. Character Animator

Using Character Animator to create an explainer video, guide or overview is a great way to save money on the typically expensive video production costs. Once a puppet design has been created and some basic controls mastered, it is reasonably straight forward to create a series of animated sequences.
