Freelancer's Handbook cover design and pages

Book Summary

The handbook also includes an insight into some of the promotion ideas and methods that have resulted in long term business relationships with Airbus, Toyota Motor Manufacturing and other household names across the UK and beyond. The later chapters consider some of the pitfalls of social media plus there is also an appendix containing links to useful online resources.

The book design places detailed text on the left page with images, graphs, charts and illustrations on the right. This enables the reader to quickly browse themes or ideas and conveniently select the content they wish to read in more detail. The same design style has been applied to other books written by Peter Simcoe including 360 Video Handbook and Lens Flair. See all current publications on the book page.

As seen on the contents page (right), the book covers a variety of subjects. It includes examples and recommendations for consideration while running and developing your own freelance business. The author has been freelancing for over 20 years and during this time has had many opportunities to reflect upon successes and challenges along the way. Some of these stories are outlined within.
