At the first Drawing Research Network meeting at Loughborough University in May 2001 it was proposed that an email discussion list devoted to drawing research be set up. This was subsequently established using the popular JISCmail service - the Joint Information Systems Committee service which provides an email distribution and archiving facility for universities and commercial clients.

The Drawing Research email discussion group was established in June 2001 and it currently has about 300 members including research students, academic staff and practicing artists and designers. Steve Garner (The Open University) currently manages the list.

Membership is free. The list operates an open membership policy and you are invited to join this email list by following the simple instructions below. Members can review past postings and threads of discussions via the List's own web pages.
